"We had booked this stay approximately 2 months prior, and spoken to the hotel staff a week prior to attending to add on extras to the room, flowers, champagne etc. No one had mentioned that one area of the hotel was undergoing renovations and there was quite major building work going ahead right next to our room. No one had mentioned the Hot tub in the spa wasn't working either, and had in fact been out of commission for some time, with it expected to be out of commission for several more...
