A must place to stay

Lovely place, great atmosphere, welcoming staff. The best smoked salmon and scrambled eggs I have ever eaten and the fresh orange juice was delicious. I would thoroughly recommend this place for a visit.

The lamb in was one of the loveliest places we stayed in a while. Staff were extremely polite and helpful, the service was great. The food was absolutely delicious. Would 💯 come back again and recommend.

Pub restaurant was nice, food was good, breakfast quite nice, initially staff was not so friendly, later it got better, the room was quite small and for sure the beds very small

We were given an upgraded room it was very comfortable and spacious. but the light was dim. A very large bathroom with both bath & shower but only 1 hand towel. Breakfast was very nice apart from the bacon which was awful.

Last minute trip ,and what a trip , absolutely amazing stay . Lottie made our trip perfect , our room was stunning food and atmosphere was perfect and the breakfast perfect and cannot wait to go back

Food really good. Beds comfy. Staff and service excellent. Few cobwebs in room but generally clean. Breakfast 2nd day was not great as chef over slept lol.

Sraff very friendly and helpful, couldn't do more to make you feel welcome. Only one night but a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend. We only had breakfast to eat as we had orher arrangements for the previous evening. The menu looked great though and the breakfast was super.

A rare gem

A rare delight. Too often when we book with hotels.com we are given a poor room and this has resulted in several complaints at a hotel. But at the Lamb we had an excellent room of really high standard, well finished with excellent utilities and a coffee machine. Into the bar and restaurant, brilliant again. Good choice of food, nicely presented and delicious, same at breakfast. And to top it all great service from smiling helpful staff.

Short but very sweet visit.

This is a great find, only 8 rooms, but it’s true what they say about good things coming in small packages. The food and service here is excellent. The staff are so friendly and really.. nothing is too much trouble. We had an issue with the toilet, just happened to mention it at Breakfast to Lottie, straight away she offered a move of room to a really lovely alternative. The food is gorgeous, Adriana is excellent at front of house, knowledgeable, professional but what a great character! We will certainly be back at some time in the future to this great hotel in this charming village!

The staff are friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed our meals at the onsite restaurant. There’s also a coffee shop and cafe across the street. Angmering is a lovely little English village. Our room was quaint.

Lovely place to stay, made even better by the friendly staff. Room was cleaned each day by Wendy who was lovely. Breakfast was amazing and filled us up for the day. Will definitely be back!
