"Our stay was great! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean. The thing we enjoyed the most was exploring the hotel and seeing all of the pictures from its history. Just everything was so grand and beautiful. The beds were reasonably comfortable. The doors were a bit tricky to open sometimes (like the bathroom door), but that’s to be expected with its age. The Laurier cafe on the main level had amazing coffee and breakfast sandwiches (we didn’t add breakfast to our package). Would definitely recommend!"

"Lovely hotel. We have only ever been while it’s under construction. So we hope that one of our future stays will be once the work is done. Spacious rooms. Clean. Thoughtful personal products - the robe and slippers were a great touch. It’s close to so many great sights, restaurants and more. The only negative we had this trip is that our room smelled. Can’t explain what it smelled like but it was not pleasant. We also didn’t bother calling to change the room as we weren’t that bothered. Oh, the parking situation at the hotel is a bit of a nightmare and trying to get into the front of the hotel with the construction both there and on the street is brutal. We knew this and parked at Ottawa city hall then walked over with our things. We will stay here again."
