"I booked a "Newly Renovated" Signature Room. It included a bathtub that was peeling and had mold. Poolside bar serves food - no identification of gluten free options on the menu. Neither of the two waitstaff could tell me what was gluten-free, other than bread. I said I would like more than bread and when I asked for gluten free options and what would be safe, items that contain gluten were recommended. I will not stay at this resort again. "

"The place was exactly how it was posted. It was clean, spacious and location made it accessible either walking or short drive to restaurants, museums, beach. The host provided all supplies in description. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay again."

"Rooms updated but not in a classy way. Good fitness facility and great pool areas. Well located. the resort fee was a bit of surprise and $45.00 a day seemed like a lot. Bed was nice. Small fridge in room."

"Wonderful place to stay! Room very thoughtfully supplied with beach towels, beach chairs, small cooler for packed snacks or lunches, a small bottle of dish soap (very handy to wash the coffee mugs, etc), Keurig coffee maker, reasonable big mini frig, etc. Great view from the room of the pool and beautiful gardens along with the ocean in the background. Restaurant served delicious food. We would definitely stay here again! "

"The Fern Grotto Inn was a great location for exploring the island. The hosts seemed to think of everything from laundry to coffee to kayaks. It was a wonderful experience."

"The room is perfect. Had 3 teens with me and everyone was able to have their own space. Well equipped, lots of appliances and no need to go out and buy anything so you can cook. The lanai is wonderful and you can hear the fountain all night. The property is beautiful. The pool is cold. All of the pools are cold. Maybe because it’s February, but I could only tolerate the hot tub. The host was super helpful anytime we needed anything. "
