River Birches architectural quality and detail was exceptionally pleasing to the eye.

We had a lovely stay at Hana Lodge. Such a beautiful spot and lovely grounds to explore. The rooms are clean, beautifully presented and well thought out. The staff were amazing. We wouldn’t hesitate to come back!

Dale and Margaret were the greatest hosts during our stay! The view was astounding (even during a little rain), the facilities were great and after 3 nights we really didn't want to leave. Great location and highly recommend a visit.

What an amazing location and what an amazing hotel. The staff were excellent and friendly. The food was great. The location was stunning. All in all, a must go place if you are visiting Rotorua - only about 15 minutes drive from all the action.

Very beautiful view which would be hard for us to leave the room. Very tranquil that what we only were able to hear is the birds singing. Very yummy meals and excellent staff and services.

Perfect stay! Beautiful location, right on the lake shore, and beautiful property. Kayak, spa, sauna, and less than 10 mn drive to downtown Rotorua. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The managers Aaron and Danny are amazing, professional, yet very friendly. They made sure all our needs were met but allowing us the privacy to enjoy the peace and beauty of the Te Karaka lodge surroundings. Our meals, prepared by the master chef, Franz were as good as we have experienced in any restaurant . Only the finest ingredients selected by him. Presented beautifully with attention to detail and creating wonderfully unique taste combinations. We cannot recommend Te Karaka Lodge highly...

Great motel, excellent location

Just amazing place

Great location, clean, safe and friendly staff.

Accomodation was perfect for what we needed. The staff was friendly and there were plenty of ammenities. Everything was clean and tidy and the common areas and rooms were kept to a lovely warmth. The continental breakfast was a nice addition.

Staff were amazing. Bed was very comfortable. Great location, quiet.

Definitely money worth for the price of the accommodation.
