"This was my family’s second stay at this secluded cabin; we liked it so much we came back! It’s in a great location from which to go out on area hiking excursions each day, or just hang out on the porch and relax. The cabin is just right for six people, and is beautiful inside and out! All we needed was there."

"This is an authentic 1800s log cabin experience on the high prairie, you cannot beat the views and scenery.In terms of preparation, you should bring food but not a ton at once, this is setup for about 3 days worth of food for two people. Additionally, the cooking provisions are similar to camping, plenty of grill space but you need to know how to work with one small pot and pan. We brought a couple small baking sheets which work great on the grill as a griddle for veggies, bacon, eggs etc.The hosts are helpful and accommodating. P.S. Handmade beautiful surprise in the bedroom!"

"This a very remote area which is exactly what we wanted. The are quite a few places to hike and explore in the area. After exploring, we could sit on the back deck to read and listen to the creek and the birds. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. Communication with the host was very easy and we had no trouble with check in or house issues. Also, the host provided extra treats which in our VRBO experience is quite unusual."
