"We have stayed there many times over the years traveling to and from NJ & NC and rooms are old always but clean - we personally like it because of the location... all the way at the end of the boardwalk and out of the main hub-bub. We also appreciate the jacuzzi tubs, but as of late they have not been working well enough."

Good enough if you are looking to save some money. Off site parking but not too bad as the parking lot was right across the street, so if you dont mind that it was fine. "

"I stayed at the Hilton Oceanaire in Virginia Beach this weekend, right on the water, and while it started off frustrating, it ended up being a great experience thanks to the staff. I arrived after 5pm, well past the 3pm check-in, my room still wasn’t ready. After a long day, I was annoyed and admittedly gave the front desk attendant a hard time. I was in full “Karen” mode. What impressed me was how masterfully they handled it. They stayed calm, professional, and respectful, acknowledged the delay, and completely de-escalated the situation. They stopped me in my tracks without ever making me feel dismissed, which honestly turned my whole mood around. Once I got to my room, everything was clean, comfortable, and the oceanfront view was beautiful. The location was a huge plus. The delay wasn’t ideal, but the way it was handled really stood out. Excellent customer service! I’d definitely stay again."

"My daughter and I were visiting the beach for the weekend. The hotel was the perfect location, beach front, easy access to beach and, shops, and restaurants. Room was as expected. Shower was a little older but nothing terrible. At the time the weight room was being cleaned so that was disappointing and there were a lot of people in and out of the hot tub so the water was not hot...actually the pool was probably hotter than the hot tub. The 8.6 rating it gets is totally appropriate. I would definitely stay here again. "
