"This location is amazing! Directly on the water and halfway between the port and marina. The staff were great. The breakfast buffet had an excellent selection. The pool area and gardens are beautiful. Half of the property is being renovated it didn’t affect our stay at all. "

"I bought my trip package through Expedia. It was the package that included the Stay + Flight. Everything went smoothly. No problems were encountered through this third party booking company. Hotel Olimpico was a great place to stay for our 14 day trip in Salerno. The hotel is about a 20-25 minute bus ride to the Salerno train station/ city center (shops and restaurants). The hotel does provide free shuttle transportation between April -October to the main center / train station. I was there at the end of March and had to take the bus for about a week until they launched their shuttle service. The Guilano bus charged us in March 1.40 euros per person. And the hotel does provide a timetable if you do need to take the bus in case you can’t make their shuttle. The room we booked was a standard room and it was such a beautiful place. The hotel itself was immaculately clean. Our room had room service everyday and it was great to come back to a nice clean room after a long day of adventures. Breakfast was included and they have a great variety. It was delicious and we enjoyed every bite ! The staff is very attentive and friendly. They are very helpful and they helped out with taxi services, and also helped us with train scheduling. So if you do need any advice they are there to help you ! Don’t hesitate to ask for help. The ladies in the reception area are AMAZING! They’re very knowledgeable. And they make this hotel what it is with their warm smiles and hospitality. "

"I usually do not take the time to complete reviews, even when I really enjoy the location. In this case, I’m anxious to do so, as the Grand Hotel Capodimonte in Sorrento, Italy, is an amazing place. Probably the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in, which not only includes our room, but the elevator, restaurant, lawns, etc. The location is amazing – you simply walk about 150 yards down the hill and you’re in the heart of the best shopping and dining in the city. Other hotels are on the strip, but they are “too busy”, and the 150 yard walk is worth it. A 10-minute walk to the marina to catch ferries to Pasitano, Alalfi, Capri, etc., and a 15-minute walk to the bus terminal for additional options. The staff could not have been more friendly. Complimentary breakfast was first class all the way. Our plane left super-early from Naples (1.5 hours away), so we had to leave before breakfast was served. The hotel made us a “travel breakfast bag” to eat on the way to the airport. Incredibly thoughtful and much appreciated. One of my finest travel experiences ever. A+++ and highly recommended. "The view over the Mediterranean from this hotel is mesmerizing. You are in for a delicious breakfast with lots of varieties if you want to try their restaurant. Just wish if there was an indoor swimming pool. Also, make sure to know about their shuttle bus schedule as there were no signs on the bus and the evening driver wasn’t that tourists friendly. Your only way to Sorrento is the shuttle or local bus ( SITA bus). Otherwise, taxi is a pricy option Rooms are clean, room service is good."
