"Our room was clean, easy to book shuttle to and from the city but would advise to be on it if you want specific times because they do book up pretty fast. The shuttle is on time but can easily be missed if it’s super packed at the bus station and you can’t see. Every member of the staff we came across was extremely kind. Our room was clean and comfortable, we loved hanging out on our balcony. The breakfast buffet was a plus! They have a steamer you can use for free which was great because all of our clothes became wrinkled while being stuffed in a suitcase every few days. If we ever come back to Amalfi, this is where we will stay."

"We LOVED the bountiful breakfast buffet, fresh-cooked omelets, etc in the sunny breakfast room or terrace. The front desk staff and all the staff were very nice, helpful. The rooftop pool has very nice views. Our double room was nothing special, but was very clean and smartly decorated. It was small with a window overlooking the beach. Had a mini fridge that was so stocked with minibar items there was little room for our drinks. No coffee maker or hot water kettle for early coffee drinkers. Lots of “complimentary” things in the room. The entrance is directly onto the busy road with very minimal shoulders."

"The hotel is impeccable. The room was clean and spacious. No complaints about the property. However, is important to consider that is up in one of the hills. You can walk down to the town but it’s hard to climb back up. There is no sidewalk and the road is busy with buses, cars, motorcycles, etc. That is Amalfi so do your research. Breakfast was bread, cold cuts, yogurts and coffee. They had hard boiled eggs too. They said they are not allowed to cook. So be prepared for that. There are a few restaurants walking distance but they close from 3pm-7pm. That is Amalfi and Italy for you. The owners are polite except for the most senior guy. We saw him slap a guest in the hand for trying to make a sandwich and putting it in the toaster oven. I got yelled at for accidentally taking a banana out of the breakfast area. The other guys who I assume are his sons were polite and helpful but be careful with that older guy."

"The hotel la bussola is a very nice hotel with friendly staff who are very accommodating. The breakfast was great and the dinner in the restaurant was good. The proximity to the main plaza was perfect for walking. The bathroom shower design was too small for us and the double mattress were uncomfortable. I would stay there again if the bathroom and the beds are changed. "

"The best is the people. They are amazing. But i chose the hotel because the beach club and it was close. Also the wifi does not work in the rooms and the ac for chilli nights is not enoug. Lot of opportunities to improve."
