The room was cozy and we slept really well. The host was very welcoming and fun. There are a bunch of restaurants, two continence stores and the beach in a walking distance.

Nice, casual spot with a welcoming host. Room was clean and spacious with kitchenette and shared outdoor patio. The pool and grounds were beautiful. Quiet area off the main street, but only a minute's walk to restaurants and approx 20 min walk to a nice swimming beach. The downside is low water pressure and inconsistent hot water for showers, but we would stay here again.

Skip is the property owner and he walked us through check in and the story of House of Tortuga! He was very kind and hospitable! The room was very clean and well taken care of! He also offered beach chairs and towels to use while there! 5/5 stay!

Love this little town and Casa de Tortuga has fantastic amenities! Just a quick overnight stay for us for visiting the bio bay but plan to return and have a longer stay. Great little town, all walkable, and fantastic restaurants close by. Host is super friendly and helpful!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The location was excellent and only a stone's throw away from the restaurants and tour pick up locations. The vibe was lovely and the pool was quite beautiful. Check in process was easy and was a 10 - 15 min drive from the ferry. Only wish our stay was longer!

We had a great one night stay here while in Esperanza. I would come back for the good vibes and fantastic location. The room we had was large with a nice terrace and sitting room. The owner Skip is super friendly and helpful.

Great place in a great location!

What a great place to stay! Our room was nice and clean. A bit rustic, but you're on Vieques! You can tell Skip really cares about this place he has built over the years. Swimming pool! He offered free to use beach towels, chairs, and snorkeling gear. A very short walk to the "Esperanza strip". Would definitely stay again!

Casa de Tortuga was just charming-- from the open-air office to the sweet pool area to the magical lighting effects throughout the property at night. It fit our budget and provided a surprising amount of amenities in the room.
