Quiet and clean, courteous staff. Location is out of the centre but trams run so close to it and they are cheap. Supermarkets close too. It is what it is, doesn’t try to be the ritz so don’t expect that. Good place

Enjoyed our stay at Arthotel ANA Gala in Vienna. We arrived at the hotel quite late and the hotel out of ours support was already aware of our late arrival and checked us in over the phone. The room was nice and clean. The hotel is a few stops away from the Vienna central and it's close to the D tram link and U6 metro line.

Worst experience of my trip. The room was old and dirty, the carpet had stains and dust. The toilet was disgusting. The worst part was the AC, which didn’t work, and it was 90F outside. We complained to the front desk and they told us the AC was old, and we could try other rooms. We checked 2, which were as hot as ours, so It didn’t make a difference. We saw similar complaints from last year, so I guess maintenance is not a priority to this hotel. There was a strong cigarette smell as well. I will not stay here again for sure.

It was adequate. Nothing fancy. I was greeted by a guy that clearly didn't aspire to be in this line of work at this stage in his life. To be sure, I was early, so i just left my luggage there and went off, I ended up checking in much later, by a much nicer guy. Breakfast was adequate, too, coffee left much to be desired.

While away from the historic district the hotel was well connected to trams and the metro. Good road access back to the airport as well. Public areas of the hotel were quite nice, our room (102) was pretty tired and could do with redecoration. It was also really dark, as you couldn't see any windows from the bed. It was quiet though and the bed comfortable with good quality bedding

Didn’t receive my member perk (Free bottle of wine) when checked in. Had to ask and then was given ONE 250ml bottle (Which is a glass of wine) between two of us. Comfortable bed and good location but outdated decor and building.

Decor in room a little tired, door handle on wardrobe missing, fire door in corridor handles fell off. Bedroom door difficult to open initially. Air conditioning not working properly. Insufficient table space in room for 2 people. Bathroom well appointed but a little cramped. Hotel staff courteous and helpful.

Property is extremely dated, I felt as if I’d stepped back into the early 80’s. The walls were dirty, there were holes in the net curtains, the window blinds were bend, and to top it off there was construction right outside our window, causing the room to vibrate. The air conditioning barely functioned, but after now having read a previous recent review we were grateful for that ! There was no in room safe, and the mini bar was an empty fridge, also no coffeemaker or kettle. We were extremely disappointed in such a beautiful city. I’m still blown away how this got a 4 star rating, I’ve truthfully stayed in nicer 2 stars with more amenities …. And would hate to think of people traveling far for this, it was my mistake, but others be advised.

Do not stay here. Way overpriced and the staff was awful. We had multiple nights of no AC. It was 85 in the room and unbearable to inhabit. They told us they would fix the AC and promised a different room if it couldn’t be done. The maintenance person didn’t fix it and the hotel clerk rented out our room to someone else. When I asked another hotel clerk why this happened he said his colleague lied to us because he knew he wouldn’t be on shift when we returned to the hotel. Could not believe he was that forward in admitting his coworker deceived a guest and did not care about us losing the room. Windows didn’t open so Neither of us slept. Coffee machine was breaking on and off in the lobby. Hoping management reads this and refunds us. The hotel failed to fulfill its end of the bargain by providing a habitable room for us

Lage für Städtetrip super, ruhige Lage, Klimaanlage funktioniert einwandfrei (aber laut), Personal sehr nett. Zimmern sind hellhörig, es könnte sauberer sein (staubig, viele Griffspuren an Türen, Teppich voller Flecken,...). Sehr abgewohntes, in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Waschtischunterschrank von Wasser aufgezogen, uralter Teppichboden im Zimmer. Frühstück ok, aber würde ich nicht mehr dazu buchen um das Geld (um die Ecke ist ein Billa). Würde es nicht für mehrere Nächte weiterempfehlen.

Apart from the friendly front desk employee, there was nothing positive about this hotel. The room was filthy, dust in the wardrobe, Windows have not been cleaned in month, carpet you don't want to step on, a broken picture with glass sticking out, non functioning AC and Safe and Minibar Terrible

Staff were kind, and the location was very good for easy access to transportation. However, the facility was a bit outdated, especially the air-conditioning. It does have air conditioning, but it didn't quite work well enough. I had to keep the windows open with two extra fans even when 'airconditio' was at full blast. Avoid the facility during hot weather.
