Very clean hotel and friendly staff , breakfast is simple but satisfactory especially in the morning when you do not want to look for anything outside - typical Italian breakfast. We stayed in economy room but all amenities were really good and I’m good condition. Room got cleaned daily and to excellent standard!!!! Free refreshments like tea , coffee and biscuits , and also good choice of drinks in the fridge with very reasonable prices compared if you want to buy it outside. The property is in the small canal with the bridge immediately to it - very beautiful location- close to everything! We were very pleased with this property and would definitely stay again .

Such a beautiful small hotel in the center of everything. It was very classic Italian style which is what I wanted for my experience the first time in Venice, and it was very close to everything. Recommended for couples!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Antica Locanda Al Gambero in Venice! The place was quaint and we enjoyed the large windows looking out over the canals. The Breakfast was well-stocked with lots of options for ever taste! The staff were kind. The place was warm and friendly.

Nice quite location far away from the hustle and bustle but still 5 minutes from rialto and st marks. My inky complaint is only heating was available and it was 75 degrees outside, had to crack a window and woke up covered in mosquito bites.

Great location, and mostly average hotel. Rooms were pretty small, but maybe that’s expected in Venice? The hotel seemed quite old and dated. For example, manual keys are still used, and there is no elevator. The a/c didn’t work. Which wasn’t a huge deal, as its October and not too hot in Venice. But these were tight stuffy rooms, so we slept with the window open and we ended up with quite a few mosquitoes in the room 😞. Not what I’d expect for the price but again, location is great. Staff was friendly and helped with booking water taxis and giving directions.

This is a nice old hotel. We had a very nice and quiet room. We were on the fourth floor and there is no lift so there are stairs to climb. A ported carried our bags up. There is a very nice terrace on the roof.

Very nice staff, clean, great location. Only problem for some could be the stairs...there is no lift. Staff did help with our bags. Not a problem for us. Would recommend for sure.

Nice Hotel, was right in the centre. Clean and tidy with good staff. Be aware there is no lift if required and showers drain very slowly.

This was the second time we stayed at this property and would definitely return again. We love the friendly staff, the location, the decor, etc…There are lots of stairs (like many places here) and more depending on where your room is located so if you have mobility issues, I suggest you contact them directly to get a room on the 1st floor (up one flight of stairs).

The hotel sat directly on one of Venice's smaller canals, but there was a lot of gondola traffic that we enjoyed. There was also a rooftop sitting area that had some nice views and was much cooler in in the evening than the Venice summertime temps. The staff was great. They do not have an early arrival option, but we let them know what time we expected to be there and they had 1 of our 2 rooms available early. By the time we got all of our luggage to that room, they had the 2nd room available. Wonderful service for weary travelers with jet lag.

Absolutely fantastic location. Within minutes of all the main sites. Restaurant, bars and shops all in close proximity. I was on the rear and it was so quite apart from the odd gondola singer (best bit). Great views of the canal below. The only snag was the single bed was really small. But other than that I would definitely stay here again.

We are sorry that your stay in our hotel was not satisfactory, but you should have called us and we could have checked that the air conditioning is working.Because the air conditioning has always worked, it probably used an incorrect procedure. We are always present in the structure 24 hours a day and we could have turned on the air conditioning for you.

The staff are so helpful and friendly. We had to leave early before breakfast and they prepared a takeaway breakfast for us. The property is so clean, the location is between Rialto bridge and St. Mark’s Square. A good choice!

Lovely hotel in an excellent location between Rialto and St Marks Square. Staff were welcoming and friendly. We booked a canal view room which was on floor 3 so quite far above the canal. Easy walking distance to many places to eat, Vaporetto stops and the Alilaguna boat to/from the airport. The choice of continental breakfast was very good. Would recommend.
