Barbara was the key to excellence at Antica Fenice. She was kind and cheerful. Always engaging, friendly and warm hearted. Highly recommend staying here. Breakfast was always fresh and yummy! Only short bus ride to Venice.

Beautiful family-owned hotel, very well maintained and clean with a gorgeous garden area. Our room was very spacious and comfortable Breakfast was varied and with a lot of homecooked options and a good variety of drinks. Barbara and her family were incredibly helpful and offer great service and make you feel at home. Great Italian hospitality. You can tell the put a lot of love in the service they provide and on their property,

Our stay at Hotel Antica Fenice was wonderful. Our room was very clean, Barbara and staff were wonderful and so very helpful. Breakfast was a delicious spread and the entire hotel felt so charming & quaint. There’s a terrace overlooking a garden where we ate breakfast. It was perfect! We are so sad to leave! We will definitely be back the next time we are in Venice.

We had a wonderful experience! Barbara is a very attentive and friendly hostess. She gave us all the information needed to get around Venice and the islands with ease. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The breakfast had a wonderful selection of freshly baked cakes, croissants, fresh fruits, coffee and tea , eggs ,deli meats, cheese and fresh bread . It gave us a good start to the day. The outdoor terrace was spacious and a peaceful place to relax or play games. Thank you Barbara and family for an unforgettable Venetian experience! We really enjoyed our stay at Antica Fenice. The very best thing was the kindness and helpfulness that Batbara extended to us. This is a family owned business and she treated us like family. Her mother and father also work at the property. Breakfast was very nice. Barbara bakes some of the breads herself. The garden is beautiful and relaxing, especially after a day in Venice or the islands. It is a small hotel, but has everything we were looking for. Our thanks to Barbara and everyone there.

Mrs Barbara was amazing and helpful. She made our stay 10 stars. We will definitely go there again. Everything was clean, safe, and affordable. Catch bus into Venice will take 10 minutes. From airport 9 minutes.

Our goal was to stay in the Venice mainland to avaoid hauling our luggage over many of the 400+ bridges and cobblestone paths. We were a 10-minute drive to the Venice drop-off. Very close, affordable and easy to get there. This property for us is 11 out of 10 stars. Very clean, maintained, staff was extremely helpful and polite. We can't say enough good things about Hotel Antica Fenice. Barbara was invested in making sure we were enjoying our stay. Was it luxurious and over-the-top? No. Was it.clean, quiet and comfortable? Absolutely. The included breakfast was the best anywhere from our 2 week vacation. Homemade baked goods (a German apfelkuche and apricot tart), meats and cheeses, cappuccino and all delicious. Thank you Barbara and staff for an incredible stay! We will be back!

Perfect location for visiting Venice. The bus stops outside and Venice is only a few stops away. Even though we had our own car with us, we left it behind and instead took the bus to both Venice and Mestre. You can also buy bus/boat tickets at the hotel reception. Even though it is a very busy road across the street, the hotel owner has managed to create an oasis with his garden where you can sit in the evenings without being disturbed by the traffic. The staff are very helpful and take the time to explain and give tips for your excursions, I have never experienced such dedicated staff before, they are fantastic! The facilities were excellent, and the breakfast offered a great selection of fresh, delicious food. I would recommend the hotel to anyone who is going to visit Venice.

A wonderful, peaceful oasis near Venice We stayed at Hotel Antica Fenice for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is incredibly quiet and peaceful, featuring a beautiful garden where you can relax or enjoy your breakfast. The rooms are clean, highly functional, and cleaned daily. They are equipped with everything you need for a restful stay, including a kettle with complimentary coffee and tea. The breakfast included in the price was absolutely delicious and highly recommended. Another major advantage is the hotel's location. It is perfectly situated right on the route from Marco Polo Airport to Venice, with buses running every 15 minutes, making commuting incredibly easy. However, the absolute best part of this place is Barbara. She is an exceptionally warm, friendly, and helpful person who assisted us with everything, down to the smallest detail. Without her, this hotel simply wouldn’t be the same. Un ringraziamento speciale a Barbara: Ci teniamo a fare un ringraziamento di cuore a Barbara. È una persona incredibilmente accogliente, calorosa e sempre disponibile per qualsiasi cosa, anche per il più piccolo dettaglio. Senza di lei, l'atmosfera di questo hotel non sarebbe la stessa. Great stay about halfway between the airport and Venice with bus stops just a two minute walk away. But most notably, the hotel manager Barbara is truly a delight and wealth of knowledge. Her charisma and hospitality welcomed this weary traveler. I would stay here again and again.

It is such a beautiful place. You feel you have arrived home! Barbara at Reception is amazing and so helpful! The bus stop is just some steps away, and in 7 minutes you are in Venice. Breakfast is incredible, 100% recommended!

This is an absolutely lovely little hotel. The owner Barbara could not do enough for us. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The room was big and had everything we needed. Breakfast was nice, typical continental style. Barbara provides information on how to get into Venice and things to do there. You can also get public transport tickets from her. The tourist visa is also provided cause your stating in a hotel and Barabra also gave us these. All around brilliant stay.
