This is a terrific hotel for anyone who needs to grab a flight out of Marco Polo. It is 10 minutes away from the airport and the staff is happy to organize your transportation. There are several good restaurants within easy walking distance and the hotel is very clean and very comfortable. Highly rated for this purpose.

We had a good stay at the Alexander. The location is very easy and convenient to get to central Venice and the breakfast offered a decent selection. Also really appreciated the fridge in the room. The only disadvantage was the air conditioning wasn’t strong enough and the room was consistently 24c throughout our stay

Hotel Alexander was a great quaint hotel with excellent staff. Rooms were spacious and exactly what we needed for a good nights sleep after 24 hours of travel. The breakfast was the best breakfast included with pricing of rooms I have ever eaten!

Staff were helpful and spoke good English. Room was clean but felt outdated and basic. The room was mostly bare -- no coffee/tea/kettle, no tissue box and no iron for ironing clothes. Just a TV and chair. I had to ask downstairs and instead of being given one to take to my room, I was directed to a side room to do my ironing.

The hotel is well located to the tram stop, which is about 15minutes journey into Venice. With frequent trams going to and from Venice. Breakfast was very nice and with a good choice of food. Room was basic but we just slept in the room and spent the rest of the time in Venice. Generally a good value hotel.
