Great price and quick train ride to Venice. Comfortable bed and quiet. We believed that there was a shared kitchen according to the picture but no kitchen at all. We were offered to use the owners fridge but choose not to due to access limited in timing.

The room and bathroom were not an issue—everything was clean. The area was also fine, lots of dining options around and easy transportation into Venice proper. The building however, was creepy. You have to walk up like four flights of stairs in nearly complete darkness before reaching the lobby area. At night the hallway is so eerie, and there were mysterious noises coming from one of the rooms all night. It sounded like someone was assembling furniture, but the door of that room wasn't completely closed, which only added to the weirdness. There's a motion activated light that comes on in the hallway but it activates at random even when no one seems to be there. Overall, I can't complain because we didn't pay very much and the spaces were clean. But we had friends who stayed at a hostel nearby for the same price and their rooms had ensuites and all the finishes and furnishings were modern. At least this place was right by the bus stop.

I stayed here alone. It’s fine for a solo trip, but I wouldn’t want to stay here with friends or family. The hallway lights are motion-sensor activated, which is good, but they would turn on even when no one was around, making a loud clicking sound each time. It was very disruptive, and I couldn’t sleep well because of it. I was also bothered by stains on the comforter and a strange odor in the room.

El alojamiento está a unos 8 minutos caminando de la terminal de Mestre, lo cual es conveniente para una estadía corta. Al llegar, una persona nos recibió y nos entregó las llaves. La habitación estaba algo descuidada y una de las almohadas era bastante dura. La nevera tenía hongos y moho, por lo que decidí evitar el área de la cocina. El baño compartido está ok, aunque parece que durante mi estancia nunca lo limpiaron. En general, puede servir para pasar una sola noche sin muchas expectativas, pero hay varios aspectos de limpieza y mantenimiento que deberían mejorarse. Las fotos del anuncio no coincidieron con el lugar.
