It was a little tough to find, being a plain door with a sign typed on paper attached to a door down a very tight alley, but it was clean and quiet and a good location close to all the sites. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Communication was great! Location was very central. We had the windows open at night but was too loud since people are hanging out in Manin Campo and walking by loudly until 22:00. If you are really sensitive to sound, beware and maybe ask property manager to place you on the hall away from the alley. Quaint, cute place!! Definitely would stay again.
Boutique hotel. Sometimes there's someone there managing the business and Sometimes not. No elevator. My room was a single room. It was small but very comfortable. Comfy bed. Nice bathroom. Good AC.
We would recommend this place for anyone to stay at. It was very close to St. Mark’s and the Doge’s Palace and you could get in a gondola right outside. Our room was very clean and well stocked with snacks, coffee, and toiletries. There were extra blankets and pillows as well if needed.
This was our second visit to Venice and to this special “hotel”. If you want the feel of the typical US hotel, do not stay here. If you want a unique, historical place, stay here!
Great location to see all important sites of Venice. Able to leave our luggage ahead of check in which was supper helpful. Bed was comfortable and cleaning staff came each day of our stay. Would not hesitate to recommend to travelers to Venice.
Room was very beautiful. loved the Victorian style room. Clean boutique hotel. Staff was very helpful. Location was great and had an amazing view of the canal!
I originally booked this particular room because it had 2 beds, one which was a pull out single , We both wanted our own bed. When we arrived we were told that we both had to sleep on the double bed or if we wanted them to put together the single cot, it would cost us more money. I booked this hotel on Expedia and paid more for another bed so I thought, otherwise, I would have just booked the single room with one bed. The whole thing just gave me bad vibes. Other than that, A/C good, clean, quiet. Shower was extremely small.
The location was fantastic, it was all virtual, but worked well, really enjoyed staying there, the room was fantastic, location on the canal was great for a gondola ride right at your doorstep, the only thing it was a bit noisy in the mornings with the delivery boats right outside the window, but if you are an early riser then it is not a problem. Happily stay here again
The room was very clean and the staff was extremely helpful! Especially the cleaning lady! She even went out of her way to give me maps of the city and told me all about water taxis and special day passes and places to visit. My only complaint was that staff behind the desk was not available 24 hours for questions. And that's some interaction was done via a computer rather than in person. Also, the internet at the hotel did not always work so my phones did not always work. Other than that, everything was really nice. The rooms were always clean and it's very spacious. And the air conditioning worked really well.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
San Marco completely captured me with its charming, Venice-inspired vibe throughout my stay. The interiors beautifully reflect a classic Venetian era, adding a sense of elegance and character. The location is incredibly convenient—everything is within easy walking distance, and it’s just a short stroll to the water bus docks. A perfect place to soak in the atmosphere and explore with ease!
Good location, though seemed a bit scary at first. Off a canal down a tiny alleyway but was fine. Virtual reception desk. Lots of steps up to room. Room was average. Tv did not have any English speaking channels. Towel heater was great to dry our washed clothing items on. No complaints.
