"Everything was great. However there is no TV so be prepared to spend that day outside or bring board games. Not much to do at night. We were gone during the day everyday but would have been nice to watch at night. Also if you plan on cooking they have everything but seasoning youll want to bring that with you. Id suggest brining food as closest HEB or groc store is 1hr 15min away. They have a nice waterhole to check out outdoor games for kids. We went end of June and was hot but had nice breeze...

"I picked this cabin for the proximity of several hiking locations. Perfect location to enjoy Garner State Park, Lost Maples Natural Area, the Frio and several local hiking/ biking areas. "We booked this place as a one-night stop during our trip up through the hill country and we quickly regretted not staying longer! The property is nestled in a really nice, quiet area. They have hiking trails near by (which we love), a little shop on-site and a nice hang-out area. We booked a basic cabin, which had bunk beds and a double bed with only a mini-fridge which was just fine for us. The cabin was really clean and the beds were comfortable. This is a place we are really hoping to get a chance to get back to, once the weather warms up a bit."
