"Based off the reviews, we were worried of the bad things people were saying. We worried about the homeless people issues, of the smell that had been reported but we were very please to see our room was extremely clean and we saw about two homeless people there. The neighborhood is decent, there’s a 7/11 on the same block which is very very convenient. Our room was bigger than expected, no one ever used the pool so we had it to ourselves. Staff were friendly and nice. I was so scared of being disappointed by this hotel but it outdid my expectations. It’s also provided a great view of the ocean and sunsets. (Not just the pier) it is about 13 min to Waikiki which is not bad since we had a car and spent most of the time trying to conquer every part of the island, not just Waikiki. Overall I would book this hotel again and def recommend it to my friends. "
