"First night arriving we had an issue in the room we were assigned, it was brought up to the front desk. The original room had to be shut down and they were wonderful in giving us a different room which turned out to be better than expected. It was our first time in Hawaii and the room upgrade made our experience on the island so much better. Thank you to the staff especially Marissa for the wonderful experience at the resort."

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT...TOP QUALITY ITEMS, BEDS WERE VERY COMFORTABLE, EVERYTHING YOU NEED IN A KITCHEN IF YOU WERE TO COOK...BEACH GEAR WAS TOP QUALITY, AND OF COURSE KAILUA BEACH IS UNFORGETTABLE...2 CARS FIT IN PARKING AREA WELL, ALTHOUGH GETTING TURNED AROUND TO HEAD OUT THE DRIVE WAS A LITTLE CHALLENGE WITH 2 CARS, BUT WE FIGURED IT OUT AND DIDN'T HAVE PROBLEMS. "I rented this property for a big family group vacation and there were many things to love and a few to improve. We absolutely loved the property layout with the number of bedrooms, the separate primary bedroom suite, pool, hot tub, plumeria trees and quiet neighborhood. The property was obviously a former converted family home and it felt updated but still retro in a charming way. It’s a beautiful place with lots of room to hang out communally and relax. What needs improvement are the amenities and some details that should be addressed considering the cost of the place. Note that some of these things were eventually resolved after communication with the host and that was appreciated. However, other things are just fundamental features that I recommend the host invests in for future groups. The resolved items were a lack of sufficient toilet paper, paper towels & laundry pods for the week long stay. The unresolved items were the over flowing trash that wasn’t picked up as scheduled, old stained pillows (inside the covers) & old stained carpet in the living room, as well as a missing toilet paper dispenser in one bathroom. There also wasn’t a coffee grinder or many functional kitchen tools like a full set of measuring spoons, a working ice dispenser & decent chopping knives. One exterior kitchen door also doesn’t lock. I think the host could fix all these things with a minimal investment and for the price they owe it to renters."

"We stayed at the Rainbow Inn for a week and had a wonderful time. Vicky and Grant were gracious hosts. They thought of absolutely everything. If you are wondering if you need something - you don’t. They already thought of it! The view was spectacular and the pool can’t be beat. Everything was clean and comfortable and the washer and dryer were a life saver. 10/10 would stay here again."

Upon arrival the house was tidy and clean. We were a group of 11 (1chd 1toddler) and the accomodation was as expected according to explanation and photos we had seen. Fully equipoed kitchen! We enjoyed outdoors ver much. Sofa and big tv enabled all of us to have movie nights all together. Spacious parking for to the big suvs we have rented."
