Islander Resort

10/10 Excellent

"This was an incredible resort experience. The staff was fantastic from the check in to check out. We loved our room, the activities and amenities (best yoga class on Sunday morning!), the food, and the location is unbeatable. Dreamy!"

Breezy Palms Resort

2/10 Terrible

"The staff was good and the property was decent, my problem was with a stopped up toilet that ended up being the main line stopped, I even tried to unstop the toilet with a plunger. I was not offered any compensation for my stay, I was told "leave now and you can have a refund" We had nowhere else to go at that time of night and no hotels had vacancies, not even the Breezy Palms. We had to use the restroom in the lobby throughout our stay, The GM was very rude and accused me of just wanting a free room, we were not looking for anything free or a refund, just maybe a discounted night for our inconvenience. The GM instead called me and Expedia to complain about me. This is horrible customer service, he yelled at me as if I did something wrong. Hey keep your money, its not that big a deal, but don't lie and accuse me of doing anything wrong, fix your plumbing and while your at it fix the phone, the clock and the stove, also clean out the refrigerator it smelled of fish from the fishermen who rented it before me. If you stay here be sure to bring your own plunger or be prepared to use the lobby restroom."

"The location is perfect. Being on a marina was fun and made being in the room an experience. The two stories was perfect. The bedroom upstairs helped when my one of us was still sleeping. We had two showers! After swimming we both could come in and shower at the same time. No waiting! The kitchen has everything we needed, pot for spaghetti, strainer, pan for sauce and meatballs! The fridge is huge. Ice machines are available but the freezer has a small ice tray if you wanted to make your own. The bathrooms were clean and wonderful. Big showers with plenty of water. Two TV’s. A comfortable easy to clean living room area. The king size bed was so comfortable I slept better than I do at home. The bedroom ceilings are vaulted making the room feel large and comfortable. So many amazing restaurants in a3 mile radius. Come and stay here!"

"Angela was so accommodating and was able to upgrade our stay. Every time we had a question she would have the answers and was very hospitable and welcoming to all of us. The room was clean and beautiful views, quiet and better than we could have imagined. Great location, food and service. We will be back again and again! Give Angela a promotion!! She made our stay memorable!!!"
