"The rooms could use a little TLC. Fresh paint, new shower heads, new fridge. That said, so could everywhere in the Keys. But what this place offered outshines that. The peace and quiet of being the only spot on the island. The dock right outside the back sliding glass door. The sunset and sunrise views. The escape. I loved my stay here and wish I had gotten to stay longer. "

"YES & YES— clean room, amenities & well kept property. Staff, especially Otis. More should be done to redirect, reorient unfamiliar guests from the front desk at number 1996 near the public street to the back of the property where check in and registration occurs."

"Very nice. Clean room. Was by the canal. We saw a few manatees in the canal. We also had chicken by our back patio in the late afternoon and they came back to visit in the morning which was cool. 😊 🐓 The lady at the front desk was nice. They had coffee, tea, and hot cocoa in the front entrance which was nice since it was cold when we were there. If I stayed again I would recommend a room on the canal. We were by the road but it was fine since we could walk over there."

"We really liked this place. Very nice room with a lot of space and very nice bathroom. We loved the breakfast. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Nice laundry room. Would definitely stay there again."
