"The team were friendly and welcoming. The room was a bit tired and dated but was expected due to the price we paid and the age of the building. The hotel has lots of character and a cosy feeling. There's parking at the back and close to shops and restaurants. Breakfast was a little pricey but was very good. We would stay again as overall, it's good value for money."

"We only booked for one night as it was close to Alton Towers but could quite happily have stayed longer. Chalet was really cute, nicely decorated and really clean. Milk, water and orange juice in the fridge was a nice touch (after our long drive it was nice to have a cup of tea that isn’t made from longlife milk 😬). Owner was really friendly and made us both feel welcome. He made us pancakes for breakfast as we aren’t big fans of a full English first thing….It was the BEST pancake ever....
