Wow! What an unexpected surprise. The grounds and staff were beyond our expectations and certainly lived up to its high rating. The dinner was great and the staff was very attentive to detail. We will definitely be back!

Amazing place - Beautiful setting on the Orange River. Fantastic Rooms - Staff very friendly and helpful from arrival to departure. They went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Food was outstanding. Morne and Elmarie was outstanding in their respective roles and been well supported by all the staff

Best place to stay in Upington
The rooms are well equipped with modern, quality finishes. It's comfortable, clean and spacious with a wonderful view of the river. The manager and staff are friendly and assisting. The restaurant exceeded my expectations with a varied menu and wine list and our food were delicious. The same with breakfast. Will definitely stay there again.

I sincerely apologise for your experience at our property. It is our mission to ensure that all our guests enjoy their stay and receive what they expected and more. I would therefore like to investigate the matter to establish what went wrong with your reservation. Our two rooms that face the vineyards and not the river, is not available for bookings on the internet. All bookings made on the internet automatically pulls through to our booking system which means that something must have gone seriously wrong with your booking and I need to resolve the problem to prevent recurrence for future bookings. Always a great stayover here.

Beautiful and Accomodating
We just stayed for one night after visiting the Kgalagadi, but the room was clean and modern. The back lawn is absolutely beautiful, with a small pool, lounge chairs, and a river-front view. It was perfect for what we needed, and the staff was very accommodating when I asked for an early breakfast before my flight!

Upington's Best
Great service, best location in Upington. Quiet and peaceful environment with beautiful views overlooking the Orange River from all rooms. I prefer the upstairs rooms as they have slightly better views and a bit more private.

River Place Manor - lovely little place to stay
We stayed overnight in Upington before our flight the next day. The room was perfect and the location was beautiful, right on the Orange River. For a relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings, I would highly recommend!
