"Loved it so much on the way north from Ottawa to Thunder Bay that I stayed there again on the way home! Facility is lovely, rooms clean and comfortable, owners and staff and Duke the dog very friendly and helpful. Bachawana
beach
nearby as well as a trail and waterfall at Robertson cliff were spectacular. I was there in the fall with my two dogs. Would definitely visit again! Thank-you!"

Mountainview Lodge

3.0 star property
7.6 out of 10, Good, (40)
"I arrived at lodge around 10 pm. There was no light or signage of lodge so I passed this lodge 2 times and my GPS can not find this lodge too, but after calling the owner and I finally arrived the lodge. when checking in the owner explained my room but it was difficult to find my room due to there was no light around building. No telephone in the room, wifi is not strong and I found a couple of bugs in the room. overall it was worse than expected and I will stay another motel for next time."

Beautiful Cottage on Lake Superior with Incredible Sunsets

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (33)
"We were so excited to stay at this property again! A short. beautiful drive to Searchmont Resort and Sault St. Marie, yet it feels like you're much further away from it all. Both times we stayed here we enjoyed the ever changing winter views of Lake Superior, walking out on the ice, and snowshoeing up and down the
beach
. The living room/dining area is perfect for our large family to spread out in at night after a day of skiing to enjoy a fire in the wood stove. Comfortable beds, the game room,...

"Air-Dale was a little further out than I was expecting. We were going to head into town for some food and they saved us a trip. They opened up their restaurant for us and others and served us a delicious fish and chips meal. Air-Dale was a peaceful place right on the water. We would stay again. "

"Our family was so delighted with this cottage, including the area and the hosts. We had an amazing time! The hosts are so kind, thoughtful, prompt, and generous. Easily the best hosts I have ever experienced anywhere I've stayed. The
beach
is clean and gorgeous; my little ones had a blast exploring the rocks and shoreline. There are lots of fun water toys too, we went paddling, kayaking and tried our luck with the SUP boards. It's a nice clear lake to explore. We did bigger shops in Thesseron...

Lake House on Lake Superior: Modern Nordic Retreat

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (5)
"My husband and I enjoyed the place for our anniversary weekend. We couldn't get over the gorgeous view and the house really put it on display with the big windows and natural light. The space is thoughtfully designed and we were well relaxed by the time we left (though we didn't want to leave). The nordic hot tub was perfect for the cooler windy nights. The kitchen was gorgeous and we enjoyed cooking all our meals at the place instead of leaving to go out.The kayaks were great for paddling...
