"It was a beautiful spot with nice outdoor seating and a fun loft arrangement. A little disappointed at not realizing two full sets of steps down to the beach and high tide does not allow you to walk around the island. The water in the hot tub definitely needed to be changed and was unusable, however, when host was informed he took every action to correct. Deer was plentiful but no whales or seals were seen. "

Shelton Inn provides for the basics of an overnight stay (or two or three) in simple elegance. Our room was clean, quiet and spacious. The town/city of Shelton is nicely located to provide access to all that the peninsula has to offer. I would recommend the Shelton Inn to anyone and if in the area again it would be a very short search for a great place to stay. "

"This was our fifth time staying at this little roadside stop. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs because it is right on the road. But we always find it very comfortable. The staff is always amazing. And the whole area is loaded with little towns. Excellent antiquing."
