"It was an unexpected trip for a family emergency and looking for the cheapest hotel. The wifi did not work and the overall cleanliness was lacking."

"This property is under remodeling and downstairs is a mess. My room was on the third floor and is complete. It was nice with exception of a light bulb out in one of the bed sconces and the personal coffee maker had a used coffee pod still in it. It is conveniently located to what I needed. I would considering staying again once remodel is complete."

"The bad: The air conditioning at the hotel was not working. I stuck it out a few nights but the last night it got way too stuffy. I was warned in advance and thought it would just be easier to stick it out. The good: the location is less than desirable (sketchy after dark) but there is link transit just a couple blocks away that took me to the convention center for $4 a day. The staff was great and the hotel is nice and clean. I wish the lounge would have been open since there is really nothing nearby but I guess given the AC outage the hotel was deserted so the lounge was closed. I doubt I will get a refund for the AC outage but that is the danger of paying hotel.com up front Bonus Great used bookstore one block away"

"The food in the restaurant was not very good. The breakfast was the best. The staff was good except when we asked for a phone in our room. At first no one responded and then we were told they didn't have any extra phones. A room without a phone at &600+ a night. Our room was poorly equipped, 1 tiny nightstand on the right of the bed, no where to put luggage except on a Cleopatra like coach which took up most of the room, no where in the bathroom to put a toothbrush or cosmetics and very poor lighting. We were very disappointed for the money. Oh, the lobby was lovely."
