"The view from our room was amazing, loved waking up to see mt. Fuji every morning. Traditional Japanese room with tatami floor was a great experience. Great value for the price if you don’t mind a shared bathroom. Onsen style bathrooms, tidy but could use a little extra TLC. Staff were helpful. Bikes are available for rent, definitely recommend using them as we got to see so much of the town while riding around. Overall we had an amazing experience staying here and I would stay again! "

"Our stay at Ruokan Hiyoshi was the highlight of our day trip to Chichibu. "Staying at this property was truly an incredible experience. My wife and I (American tourists visiting Japan for the first time) stayed here for 3 nights. The staff was so friendly, especially the wonderful staff in the 6th floor restaurant. Our room, a 12-tatami was spacious and comfortable with a great view of the lake and mountains. Each room comes equipped with everything you need to make green tea and wake up with the sun. The 6th floor restaurant boasts views of Mount Fuji on a clear day...
