"Nice motel. Very clean, staff very welcoming and helpful. There would have been a nice private terrace, just the weather was still too cold sitting outside. Lots of dinner opportunities in Taupo. Parking was free. Would book the motel again if in the area."

"Great spacious apartment with views of Lake Taupo. Clean comfortable beds. Staff/owner friendly and helpful. Well appointed little kitchenette, air-conditioning in the living area, none in bedrooms so we were afraid it might be cold, but electric blankets provided, which with the super warm bedding, were not really required for our 1°c overnight temperature. Also, be aware that 2nd level apartments have stairs access only. I would definitely stay here again."

"The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was great. Unfortunately there seems to be difficulties in the restaurant with dinner service due to a lack of staff. The spa pool wasn't warm enough for us to use which we did relay to staff. Hopefully it's been rectified."

"We stayed only one night but I really think this is a place you would want to spend a couple of days to get maximum benefit from everything on offer. Only issue was the soap dispenser in the shower ran out of soap while I was in the shower (last one of three to use it) other than that enjoyable stay."
