"The property is great, but truly I want to highlight the staff. I’m so sorry I don’t recall your name, but the lady running this place is an icon! She is so attentive, helpful, and kind. We had to leave at 6am and she even offered to pack up breakfast for us to go. Property itself is so much better than the concrete boxes. It’s tastefully designed, trees growing through, nature-forward. Towels, toiletries, etc provided. Booking an airport transfer was also so easy, safe, and convenient. Location, this is the spot. It’s on a main road, but a 4 minute walk takes you to a quiet section behind, OR, go the other way into the city for shopping & liveliness. Exactly what I needed to escape. We will be back!"

"My husband and I had an amazing stay! We were celebrating our anniversary and truly appreciated the level of thought and care the staff displayed to help us celebrate. Not only did the staff place roses on the bed and shaped towels into swans, when we left on our first excursion and came back, we were surprised with a lovely cake in our room. Additionally, the surrounding mountain area of this hotel is beautiful and makes swimming in the infinity-like pool and eating the complementary breakfast all the more enjoyable. The staff were amiable, hospitable, and helpful, and I particularly appreciated their prompt replies on Expedia when I had any questions prior to arriving. We highly recommend staying at Jiva Hoa Lu Retreat!"

"Amazing peaceful setting which was much needed after a week in Hanoi. Staff were excellent and even though a bit dated you can tell the place was really well designed with framed views of surroundings. Location also great and only a short bike ride to most things. Lots of surrounding cafes and places to eat. Highly recommend. "

"We had a great time while staying at Nan house. The property is very nice and quite. Away from the super busy street of the town but not far. The room was spacious with everything that you need. The bed is comfortable. Once you step out of the door, inside the property ,everything is very nicely done with a lot of plants and a hammock for the room. Breakfast is nice and you have choices. Mr Tuan is an excellent host. He was always available to provide help. We used the bikes that he had at the hotel to move around the town. He arranged for us renting a 🏍️ for two days and they brought it to the hotel. Also he arranged a transfer to the airport. We definitely recommend this place. "

"Huge and very comfy bed. Good shower and also amenities. Yea and coffee in room and water. WiFi ok, perhaps a little slow but adequate for our needs. Just down the road from Hoa Lu old town (beautiful) and Trang Un river boat rides. A tour they organised took us up the Dragon Mountain. No need to go out for dinner, the food is MUCH better here and HUGE PORTIONS!"
