A little rustic in a chic kind of way. We spent 2 nights here. Loved the history of the place and how they have retained the embroidery trade within the property/family. Room was spacious and very clean. We ate breakfast and dinner twice and appreciated the service and delicious food. The property is off the main street area, down a cute alley so is very quiet. As others have commented, there is a rooster next door, but as we weren't there to stay out late, it didn't bother us. Wish we had skipped Ha Long Bay and stayed here for 3 nights.

A gem of a hotel, great location, friendly staff

Le Clos is just wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay (part of our honeymoon) and would recommend to fellow travellers. The hotel is excellently located, a short walk from all the hustle and bustle of Tam Coc. There’s a little shop on the right just before the hotel, which was great for picking up cold waters and snacks. There’s bikes for use, which was a lovely touch and a great way to see more of the Area for free. We were there over a national holiday so it was very busy- and I would agree with the reviews that the walls are quite thin, but once the festivities quietened down it was fine. The room itself is large, with some nice seating areas, the bathroom could do with a little touch up, but the overall style is lovely. The AC was excellent, which was a massive bonus during our stay. Breakfast had some nice choices and chefs on hand to make eggs/omelettes etc. We had lunch by the pool one day and it was tasty and reasonably priced. Staff were helpful and friendly- they also organised an airport transfer for us. They offered tours, which we didn’t go on and booked something locally- wish we’d paid the extra and gone with the hotel’s privately organised tour!

A very unique property. Friendly, accommodating staff. Linens, curtains, decor in hotel sewn with hand embroidery. Lovely pool and landscaping. A wonderful place to stay, especially while it was raining!

Very nice hotel

Lovely hotel - located in a quiet street. Helpful staff all over - but a bit better english in the reception would have been nice - but they were sweet and it worked fine. Nice breakfast with everything you need. Had dinner twice - really tasty. Big rooms and very clean - good with the balcony. Speciel is the embroidery items all over the hotel - a woman is embroidering it in a small workshop - and there is s fine shop. City center of Tam Coc very near with a lot of restaurants. If I should come back - this hotel would be my first choice.
