"Having booked 5 nights on our trip already, I left the remaining nights blank to offer some flexibility. On deciding to stay in Trier, I looked for something central, within my price range and offering parking. This hotel turned out to be the ideal choice and caused me to extend our stay for an extra night. I liked the way I was phoned en route to check on my arrival time and to give me parking instructions. It was a personal touch. The place is a bit unusual in its layout, larger than it at first seems and parking is adequate and a real boon. The room was one of the largest on our trip, very well appointed with white bedding and towels, as you would expect. The price for the buffet-style breakfast was very reasonable and the food was typical German style offering both quantity and quality. "

"Incosistent communication about extra tax and charges from different staff. Was pressured to pay additional charges upon leaving higher than previously communicated and seemed off, left with a bad taste "

"The view is spectacular!! Our kids thought the place was amazing and we also enjoyed it. Owner was very quick to answer any questions we had. It's a little tricky to get to; but that was likely due to us not being from Germany/the area/understanding how the roads work. Once we understood how to get to it, it was a breeze to come and go. Beds were comfy! Hot was was hot, which made for a good shower. There are a few cobwebs, but the spaces you touch were all fresh and clean. I would suggest a stay here, and we'd gladly come back. The 3 floors of living spaces was actually kinda fun!"
