"We had a lovely time at Red Rock Overlook, my two teenage sons were particularly impressed! The views from the property (and the hot tub) are amazing. It was great to have so much space and the washing machine and dryer were very much appreciated. We had lovely clear nights and the view of the stars was beautiful.I'd recommend Ridgway State Park for kayaking (we took our own inflatable ones but you can also hire kayaks there). Our visit coincided with an art festival in Ridgway which had lots of stalls and live music and a really nice community atmosphere. We did some of the perimeter walk around Ouray which had fabulous views of the town, and the views on the drive to Telluride (and from the free gondola) were pretty amazing. One of our favourite places of the holiday was the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park!Dan was very helpful with recommendations of places to visit and things to do and very quick to respond to questions."
