Sefton Park Gates, Ullet Road The magnificent gates of Sefton Park at Ullet Road. The Mull granite columns of these gates were salvaged from St George's Hall after they were removed to facilitate the installation of the great organ. The park was officially opened to the public on 20th May 1872 by H.R.H. Prince Arthur, First Duke of Connaught and Strathern, the third son of Queen Victoria. "2 ladies on reception were veey welcoming and efficient upon check in. The whole hotel is pristinely clean. The room was spacious , spotless and comfortable. Everythkng was modern and the little toiches such as bottled water and slippers were very much appreciated. The location is so convenient for the train station , as well as local shops , bars etc. We didnt eat here at all as we already had other plans but now i wish we did as the food looked really good and fairly priced. The bar area is again very clean and welcoming. "

"This place is amazing. From the outside the property looks very uninspiring but step inside and it is a different world. The sympathetic conversion of the building is incredible. Wonderful friendly staff, great food and drink. Our room was wonderful and a great size with view of Everton’s new stadium. If you go to Liverpool you must stay here."
