"The staff made a real effort with us and our young son. They were really friendly, welcoming and informative. The hotel was in lovely condition, freshly decorated, nice attention to detail. Anything we needed they provided with efficiency and a smile. It was a real pleasure to stay there and we would have liked to stay longer."

"This hotel was very comfortable and quiet. There is a beautiful view of the water from the dining room. The breakfast is buffet style, which we prefer since one of us likes the full Scottish breakfast and the other likes to pick lighter fare."

"It was a last minute booking for us to escape storm Floris and we're so pleased we found this place. Wonderful views from the room and fantastic food. We had haggis to start (which wasn't on the menu but they did it for us anyway) and Sea Bass and Lamb Shank which were both excellent. "

Our family of 12 with 4 children 10 and under was very comfortable in this home with plenty of room for us all and no waiting for the bathroom or shower! It is a great home base for beautiful walks and explorations of the hills , loch and its’ island. It’s not far by car from other intriguing places to explore such as Eileen Dornan castle and the Isle of Skye. Ged was very responsive to any questions we had and so helpful with any needs we had. You will not be disappointed if you choose to rent this lovely home!"

"Amazing. Comfortable and welcoming. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped. Loved the big soaker tub and shower. Heated towel racks were great. The views were fabulous. Easy access to Isle of Skye. Did a day trip to Loch Ness. Directions and instructions for arrival were great! We were challenged to operate the oven because the “labels” are faded and we don’t know the symbols (easy fix with a permanent marker). We had a 9 passenger van. It was tight to turn around at the top of the drive - not a problem, just a heads up for folks. Ask about parking elsewhere? Great spot!! "
