Standing above Lochalsh in its own secluded grounds and surrounded by the National Trust for Scotland woodland gardens. South facing and in a magnificent setting with wonderful views of sea and the mountains of Skye rising to over 1000m. Although extremely private, lying along its own track of around 300m, it is only 3-4 minutes by car to Kyle of Lochalsh which has a railway station (the scenic railway line to Inverness really is world famous!) a bank, shops and an excellent supermarket. There is also a smaller supermarket and Post Office about a mile away. Our garden has a large lawn and is planted with Magnolias and mature species Rhododendrons from Bhutan, China and Nepal and which flower from February until August.
Doubled glazed with fitted carpets throughout. The house has full modern gas central heating and hot water, and wood/coal burning stoves. If you want to keep in touch, we offer free Fast Fibre Wireless broad band WiFi. It is a wonderful location with great privacy. The skies above us in winter are ink-black and intoxicating - perfect for star-gazing! (when did you last see the Milky Way .....?!)
