"The house was perfectly located to enjoy a wedding close by for my family of 10. My grandsons loved the acreage and snow—and did some sledding! Because of all the snow and ice, the front walkway was challenging but the host quickly rectified the situation with salt pellets! The 2 living areas were perfect to enjoy some family time and my husband loved the book collection! Would love to return in the summer to enjoy kayaks on the river!"

"Location was perfect and the apt. Was very clean and was great for myself, my daughter, and her 3 kids. We did have numerous power outages which came back on immediately. Hot water was in short supply in mornings for showers. However, these few inconveniences were of little concern. Thank you for a wonderful stay in a beautiful town!"

"Apartment is large and spacious. It is perfect for our family of five. It had great parking and you could walk around the quiet town. Location allowed train access to Boston and Salem. It was a quick drive to the shore. We had some trouble with the above neighbor causing damage to the property, but the owner was honest and respectful to refund us money when our travel insurance would not cover it. I only give 4 stars as the dishwasher was broken and I hate doing dishes on vacation. Also, the wood stairs were extremely slippery with rain and snow and we kept falling or slipping on them without a towel or rug in the main entrance. "
