Search Chalets in Tihiroa

This was such a clean and well looked after accommodation. Check in was a breeze, the cleanliness was great and to top it off, I got to pat a fluffy cat. My son was thoroughly impressed with having his own tv.

the room with the attached bathroom was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view was amazing and the breakfast was extremely generous.

Friendly & convenient

You want top allow a full day (and 2 nights) to explore the adjacent peninsula, as the roads are slow and windy but the forests and ocean views and experiences are fantastic. Thanks Garth for the different recommendations about where best to explore. We avoided the theme parks in Rotorua and enjoyed Orakei thermals. Paeroa has some interesting antique stores and the adjacent gorge and gold mine were very pretty.

Arrived a bit later than planned but received a warm welcome by owner. The motel was great and suited our needs.

Feels like home - best accomodation that we have ever stayed at in New Zealand

Can walk to glow worm caves and food places. Nice rural outlook.

Rooms were well maintained and very clean. The lady at reception couldn’t have been more helpful. A fantastic place to stay

Lovely helpful reception. Dog friendly. Lovely peaceful place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at glow worm motel, will be recommended to my friend can't wait to comeback.

I couldn't have asked for better hosts. Kind and considerate to my circumstances. I will certainly stay there again.

Great place!

Stayed here based on the location and the novelty. Stayed in Hobbit Hole 1. Arrived late and didnt realise that reception is 9 to 5 but the lady had the key left out for us thankfully. The room was so cool! The large bed was in the kitchen/living area with 2x bunk beds in a back room. The beds were huge and so comfortable! I stayed in one bunkbed and my mother in another and we were both impressed with how comfortable they were for single beds. Location was close to the glow worm caves so we got...

Fantastic place

Quirky hotel with comfy beds and rooms, quiet and peaceful

I was a bit nervous that our unit was right next to the road, but it ended up being just fine. Nice room, super friendly staff, lovely spa, big bed. This was a last minute booking and it was better than I expected. My only advice would be to upgrade the TV system. Would be happy to stay again.

Best Hotel Check-in and service I have had in years!

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in, fantastic food and very relaxing experience. My only complaint is that the LED lights always glow when you switch the lights off, so there should be a master switch or a light cover on the lights.
