"Lovely little traditional bach. Undersell and over-deliver type situation. You won't be sorry you booked this place. Stayed with a three year old and an eight month old. Playground across the road, virtually no cars on the road, just us, the birds and the beach. It was lovely. And we saw the kookaburra! The only problem was my baby's penchant for eating the hessian tassles on one of the floor rugs..All-up, the best value for money in the area"

"A lovely long weekend celebrating Mum’s 70th. We missed the first night due to the state of emergency but arrived to a warm, well-prepared home.Comfortable, family-friendly, and in a great spot near Goat Island and Matakana, with everything we needed. We’d happily stay again, such a relaxed, welcoming feel."

"Bach had lovely ocean view. Host was very helpful and we enjoyed the fruit, chocolates and milk left for us. We did miss bed side tables and lamps though and a fourth arm chair. So much to do in this area, we loved the Sculpterium, Brick Bay Winery and Sculpture Trail where we had a yummy lunch, and also short drive for a great swim at Omaha Beach."

"We spent a wonderful weekend at the bach and can highly recommend it! It's a hidden gem amongt native bush with abundant birdlife and a short walk to a beautiful tidal beach. The house was clean, comfortable and excellent value for money. "

"A peaceful and picturesque slice of kiwi paradise with everything you could need. Perfect for a weekend away - even heard kiwi calls at night! Would recommend packing light as there is a easy well maintained bush walk to get to the cabin, but this is clearly mentioned by the owners and is not a deterrent, if anything - its kind of a benefit if you're looking for privacy. Would recommend to others and will hopefully be back!"
