Pleasantly quiet, if that appeals to you, but endlessly fascinating area."

"Only downside, when we arrived at 8.30pm, there was only 5 beds made up and no bedding for number 6. On contacting the emergency number we were informed bedding would be delivered in the morning!! Luckily the Country club was able to give us some. The cottage hadn't been thoroughly checked for first holiday makers as the shower drains smelt for first use. The rest of the week was lovely, excellent situation and use of tennis courts invaluable with 3 children. We had beautiful weather all week...

"This is an excellent property except: the second bedroom is only that as it has a bed (no drawers or wardrobe). The bed is lumpy and springy and when we complained Secret Suffolk added a nylon cover that caused sweating (cheaper than cotton) so person in that bed never had a good night's sleep. or"

"Everything we needed was provided. We did bump our heads a couple of times on the low door frames and had to take care upstairs, because of the different levels of steps. We purchased a weekly parking permit to park in the public parking area by the rec center. When we needed to load/unload it was challenging at times to navigate the car down the narrow street, especially with some parked cars sticking further out. Overall though a lovely cottage."

"We had a wonderful stay at Scibblers Cottage. It was very well provisioned, cosy and clean. Woodbridge is a really great place to explore Suffolk from and Scribbler cottage is within walking distance everyhting you would need, pubs, shops, walks on the river and restaurants. "

"House was absolutely ideal for us -- small but perfectly proportioned and walking distance to everything. Parking directly outside the house was a challenge most days but we could always find a space a short distance down the road. House is cozy, clean and very comfortable. Highly recommended -- we would definitely stay there again! One caution -- the stairs are extremely steep and would likely be a challlenge for anyone with mobility issues."

"Low Tide is very convenient for the beach and Aldeburgh’s excellent High Street, with its own off-road parking. It is a rather small property although we found it both warm and quite comfortable for two. My only gripe is that we both found the mattresses rather too hard for a comfortable nights sleep!"
