"Place is cute in a great location. The shower floors are slimy and need a good scrubbing. Stayed several weeks so started taking our own cleaner and scrubber to clean the shower floor before using. Overall whole place could use a good deep clean but is okay. The require a physical card only to run even with special instructions and permissions added on Expedia. We booked all of our travel on one card and every other hotel ran that card to our presence whether it was physically present or not. I usually keep the card and my husband travels. Basalt Mountain Inn won’t accommodate our special request in that regard but we worked out another solution. "

"This hotel provided the accommodations that we needed. It was wonderful as a temporary living arrangement for several days. It is super convenient for restaurants and grocery shopping. It is also a great place to start daily activities to Aspen, Basalt and Glenwood Springs"

"The Cabin is so comfortable and well-appointed with an ideal rustic Rocky Mountain feel, in the most beautiful spot with an insane view of Mt. Sopris. Close to everything, like great restaurants in Carbondale, quick gorgeous drives to Redstone, Basalt, Aspen, Avalanche and Penny hot springs, etc. Birding right from the back deck while listening to the creek is the best…a red tail hawk hung out with us for an hour or two. Jacuzzi is incredible, with, again, the most amazing views, and inside both the bathtub and shower are perfection. Highly recommend for a hydro-therapy sleepcation! I want to go back tomorrow."

"Stayed for a month and had an amazing experience from beginning to end. The property is beautiful with stunning views, the house is the ultimate cozy log cabin with everything updated and working well, the location is great as it’s somehow both remote and a short drive to skiing, Aspen, etc. And the trout pond is the ultimate bonus amenity. Best of all though was Adam. Super friendly and welcoming to guests, very helpful and responsive, and just an all around great guy. You can tell he’s put a lot of love into his place even with the smallest details. We had such a great time and would stay again in a heartbeat!"
