"Room was clean but more like a motel than a hotel. Breakfast was a nice surprise. Worked out well because it was a reasonable price during the World Cup when reasonably priced hotel rooms were non-existent."

"A great venue and a nice room but the kitchen was missing neccessary items and there was no dishwasher. Also the rooms has not serviced. It wasn't clear on Expedia that this was an apartment and NOT a hotel room."

"This hotel seems to have been upgraded. Fabulous brand new room with plenty of space, comfortable beds, and a stunning view of the Harbour. The only thing I would recommend is duvet covers and fitted sheets, as they make the beds with only flat sheets, but it seems most hotels are doing this as of late. The staff was Fabulous, check in experience was amazing, thanks to front desk for being so pleasant to us after a very long harrowing drive through wildfires. The pool and hot tub were so nice as well and an amazing view. We booked another night we love it so much:)"

"Excellent property ~ very clean and courteous staff; convenient location, great proximity to sea bus and restaurants! If you are sensitive to noise, perhaps consider requesting to stay on the west side, opposite of the market/restaurants as it tends to be a bit loud in the evening with the market and the pubs."

"The reviews I read were not very flattering so I took a chance. Managed to get a room facing the back much quieter The Waldorf has a long history and should not be forgotten yet embraced. PNE used to have a parade and thats where all the pipers went. The staff are locals and down to earth and legitimately want your stay to be a pleasant one. Howe brewery is pleasant and staff there are great as well! Yes there is some unhoused and people that are struggling but they mind their own space and can even be very helpful."
