"There was plenty of food to choose from. The cooked food was cooked well and of good quality. Only criticisms is that for me there could have been a wider choice of fruit and that finding room to sit at breakfast was quite difficult, despite the efforts of the staff to prepare tables as soon as they were vacated."

"Great base place to explore Bath, specially if you rented a car which you can park inside the hotel premises. Bedroom was spacious and well appointed. We had breakfast once and it was nice quality, but since they were closing felt rushed with no purpose. Based on room rates to charge for parking felt unnecessary and probably won't move the hotel top line needle. Would go back to it!"

"A fantastic stay- so good we wished we had booked for longer. The building is beautiful and has so much character. Staff were lovely and breakfast was delicious. Our room was clean and spacious - a rare treat on our trip! The beds were comfortable and the towel warmer in the bathroom was an unexpected bonus! The layout of the hotel was fine for us- but may be an issue for someone with mobility issues as even though there was a lift for some of the rooms our room still required a series of stairs. The hotel itself is up a fairly steep hill in Bath. But a taxi from the train station was only £10. We also used the bus to get back to our hotel in the evening. We will definitely book here again when we return to Bath."

"I love the Kennard. I stayed there last year and returned again. The staff are very helpful. Bridget the receptionist helped me with restaurants to go and eat and spas to go to. The breakfast was eat as much as you like with wide selection of coffee and tea. My room was very clean and I love the garden"
