The room was modern, well sized and the bed was super comfy after a long day travelling/working. I dined at Terasu which was fantastic! Highly recommend the Kingfish Cervice! I also went to the rooftop bar and although the weather was overcast and incredibly windy, the view was fantastic. I would love to come back and enjoy this bar on a day when the sun is shining and it's not blowing a gale!

Loved our one-night stay for my birthday. Had drinks and dinner next door at new sister property, Ardo in the lively rooftop bar. The room was comfortable with 2 double beds. The next day we enjoyed lounging in the lovely pool area and my daughter shouted me a wonderful massage at the hotel spa. Last time I stayed here was 32 years ago. It’s wonderful how they’ve kept such an old building modernised and contemporary. Top spot with beautiful views over to Maggie Island.

Close to supermarket, restaurants, cafes, ferry and buses. The only part that isn’t great is the location can get a bit touristy - being right next to the ferry. It’s also a 10 minute bus ride to a swimming beach and the buses only leave once an hour. However everything else is great!

What a hidden gem in Townsville! We absolutely loved our stay at Victoria Street Boutique Hotel. Every little detail has been thoughtfully considered, from the luxe shower products to the complimentary local craft beers in the mini bar on arrival. Such lovely touches that make the stay feel extra special. Highly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel to anyone visiting A standout stay that truly exceeds expectations. We can’t wait to return!

Very friendly staff, large comfortable room (king executive room), central location, we used taxi from airport ($30) as we arrived too late for shuttle bus. Hotel decor looks well kept, not old, but colours are drab & lacking warmth & giving it an old fashioned feel, everything in the corridors & the room was brown. This is our second stay at Oaks M on Palmer and we love the location, the layout and décor of the rooms and the excellent friendly staff. Only thing that was a bit annoying was the loud banging of the next door studio apartment. They layout of the door entrances means that whenever the person in next studio goes in and out there are two doors to open and "bank" closed. 5.30am in the morning is a bit offputting. It was a very short stay, so came in after hours and left before hours due to work, however the directions were clear and precise leaving it stress free, best and tidy place, I will visit again.
