"The location is very convenient, it is right there as you get off the ferry. It is also handy to the bus and to the supermarket, cafes and restaurants in Nelly Bay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and nice enough. The room wasn't cleaned/serviced at all while we were there, which wasn't a huge deal, but I was expecting, with the price that we paid, that it would be. The pools were freezing cold so we went in the Ocean instead and didn't use them at all. They would probably be better in Summer/hotter weather. The local rock wallabies are just a short walk away."

"First, it was my first time to Magnetic Island and I was unsure of where to stay on the island. I defaulted to this hotel as it had high customer ratings. Location: I ended up extending my stay so was able to stay on other parts of the island but my favorite was this one. Although in Nelly Bay, it is on such a quiet street across the bridge from the main town. It was literally a 3 min walk to a beautiful miles Long Beach. Also within a 7 min walk was a great coffee shop, restaurant and grocery store. Resort: I wouldn’t describe it as a luxury resort but that is why I LOVED it. It felt like family. It was very personalized, VERY CLEAN, and it had all the things you would need. I would rate it 10/10. It was nice to have a washing machine/dryer too. They had a pool table which was great."

"By the end of our stay, we embraced the house and its location - we had the best time. That said the property is unusual as it is more like 2 complete houses stacked on top of each other.Initially we found the architecture a challenge as we are a group of retirees, and definitely not the demographic the multi-level house is designed for. Specifically for us, there are no internal stairs and on the top floor there is a step up from the verandas to inside the house, with 2 steps in the main bedroom up into the ensuite. We did get used to it (and used torches if we got up during the night) but it's something for other mature groups to consider. Equipment was good - including a coffee machine and good knives (rare in our experience) - the chefs in our group had a ball. The location is great. frequently we wandered down to the beachfront a couple of hundred metres away and had coffees, lunches, dinners and drinks at the brewery. Picnic Bay is lovely and the property provides great access."

"A charming rarity, set in beautiful tropical gardens with glimpses of rock wallabies and bush stone curlews a plenty. The room was spacious, super clean and very comfortable. A large guest swimming pool was an extra bonus, too. Communication with the host was great. The accommodation was accessible by an easy walk during the day or a 2 minute trip on the local bus day or night, which runs on a regular timetable."

"Monica, Thank you for making our family getaway a little special. Very relaxing environment with spotless facilities. Accommodation is well maintained. The surrounding gardens & pool were relaxing allowing all of us to decompress from the hectic city life. This location is very family friendly and a great location to explore the rest of Magnetic Island."
