Granite Ridge Lodge

Granite Ridge Lodge

10/10 Excellent
"Truly one in a million properties. Very unique spot- located off the beaten path, literally it is located at the end of a long gravel road in a beautiful wooded area. Close proximity to Mt. Rushmore, Keystone, and Custer State park. You will be greeted by deer and wild turkeys every morning and hear the 1880 train whistle as you enjoy coffee and breakfast on the back patio. So peaceful and beautiful. Well stocked kitchen with coffee maker, pots, pans, glassware, etc. Very spacious bedrooms and bathrooms - great for our party of 7. Beds were very comfortable. We spent alot of time out and about so we didn't have time to enjoy the hot tub, but it would have been amazing to view the stars from. Only downside was that we were there during a "burn warning" and we were not able to utilize the outdoor woodburning fireplace - but it is in a beautiful spot on the patio and weather permitting would be amazing. Great spot for our girls' weekend! The host was extremely responsive which was greatly appreciated."
