The only problems were the stove top only worked at full temp so we had to use the communal kitchen, and the tree scraping on the side of the building (cabin 7) kept us awake all 3 nights ...

The Te Aroha Hot mineral pools - private ones - excellent - pensioner rates only Monday to Friday unfortunately so we had to pay full price.

Lovely small rural town ,lots of old historic buildings mixed with very good quality eateries, highly recommend Austins bar and bistro, lovely meals and unique cafe for delicious variety of food and drinks
