We found all the facilities very comfortable and liked having our own personal balcony off the main bedroom with the afternoon sun pouring in and a handy little table and chairs. Everything that we might need was supplied.

The managers Aaron and Danny are amazing, professional, yet very friendly. They made sure all our needs were met but allowing us the privacy to enjoy the peace and beauty of the Te Karaka lodge surroundings. We found ourselves at this Hotel because every other place anywhere the venue for the Eagles Concert at Mt Smart Stadium was booked out. It turned out to be a brilliant choice because the Motorway was a complete nightmare any where near Auckland so we chose to drive north to Papakura where we left the car at the "Park & Ride" at Papakura Railway Station" before boarding a suburban train to Penrose where we were able to walk to the venue, At the conclusion of the concert we did the reverse back...

Quick and easy check-in, lived the service. But most importantly loved the cleanliness and modernised room. The bed was so comfy I had to take a look at the mattress so I can enjoy that luxury and buy it 4 myself.

Very unique camping ground that needs New Zealand old school camping

Spacious, clean, comfortable motel with all the services we required. It had a full kitchen, separate bedroom, air-con, wifi and was clean a s a whistle. The price we paid was great value for money. Road noise was not an issue. It is not a plush top end motel but was very acceptable with more space than any new motel I have seen.

Very peaceful here as it seemed like we were the only guests here. Our room was clean and tidy and warm.
