Taumarunui Golf Course Tours and Activities

This resort is convenient to stay at, in terms of proximity to most of the attractions around Taupō. However, it is definitely not up to Accor’s 4 star standards. Despite being old, the carpets are worn out, the ceilings are cracking, the bathrooms are stained and the rooms have a dusty smell. I loved Wairakei 10 years ago, but this was my 4th a final stay, unfortunately. The staff and facilities in the resort are helpful, but it is in need of a major facelift. Breakfast was average, you have to pay $5 to get eggs done your way, which I’ve never done at any other bnb before.
