"A characterful house with a good big garden and a super location a short walk to the lovely beach at St Jorioz and also close to a practical town with useful services. Lovely to sit on the small balcony outside the kitchen window while someone else is cooking. This kitchen is small - as shown on the site - but worked out fine for our party of 10 as long as everyone is not in the kitchen at once. We were given a very warm welcome by Jacqueline and a very helpful English speaking neighbour! It was the perfect base for our skiing holiday in the beautiful small ski resort of Crest Voland. "We had a little trouble with check in, having to wait for the manager to meet us, thankfully we had a native French speaker who could phone them to organise. The house itself was very roomy, the kitchen was well supplied with appliances and utensils, crockery, cutlery etc. The washing machine and dryer was a bonus. The fireplace kept everything roasting warm and the radiators were very effective also. Lots of different spaces to retreat to. One small comment was that we paid €16 per person...

"Phillip and Charlotte were the perfect hosts, there when needed but otherwise left us to enjoy the property, which, I have top say is first class. lots of room, plenty of equipment, dishes, pans etc. The rear garden was where we spent most of our evenings, there were 6 of us, motorcyclists, we cooked or BBQ'd every night and bought beer, wine from the local shop and relaxed and chatted about the ride we had undertaken during the day. The surrounding area is spectacular as you would expect, great...
