"Great studio right in the centre of the old town! Walking distance to the lake, a selection of great restaurants and really well equipped. Perfect base for a solo traveller! Although worth noting given it’s an old building (expected given it’s the old town) that the walls are a little thin so you can hear the neighbours and the final staircase up to the studio is pretty narrow/steep so be careful if you have large luggage you may struggle getting up to it. As we anticipated, parking was quite difficult until we could better understand the location and pricing on nearby parking lots. "We stayed 3 nights in Annecy. The apartment is in the old town and you have to go up 3 flights of stairs and passed an open restaurant with your luggage. We were told there were fans to use in the apartment as the weather was very warm. This was misleading, the fans were portable air conditioners that were not correctly vented, so if we turned them on they would pump even more hot air into the apartment! "Our biggest disappointment with Les Muses was when released we’d left medication at the hotel in their fridge. On telephoning there was a distinct lack of interest. With a response that none were there ( it didn’t seem long enough for anyone to really check the fridge ),I just got told they’d probably been thrown away! No apology! And I fail to understand we weren’t contacted when they realised we left them. My wife’s is prescribed but I myself pay for them and so am out of pocket by £300. Altogether not very satisfactory. We’d picked the hotel to use the restaurant opposite which is very good. Unfortunately we won’t be returning."
